Kob Inn is on a beautiful stretch of the Wild Coast which has both sandy and rocky stretches of coast line.  Right in front of Dolphin View there are three sets of reefs which are  accessible at spring low tide.  Dolphins and whales are sighted regularly. 

A lovely safe swimming beach with rock pools is less than 250m away.  There are 3 swimming beaches within a 10 minute walk of the cottage.  The beaches are perfect for swimming for young and old.

There are the remains of a yacht which was wrecked on the reefs right below the cottage.  The beautiful Qora River is a 20 minute walk away.  The coastline is pristine, offering exquisite walks and hiking trails for nature lovers, round trips vary from 25 minutes to 10 hours.  For bird watchers there are fish eagles, kites, king fishers and many more.

The fishing is amazing, both for rock 'n surf and estuary fishing.  There are 3 canoes available at the cottage for use on the rivers.  Diving/snorkelling and spear-fishing to the different reefs, depending on degrees of bravado, is lovely.  Kayaking and surfing is done by the more intrepid (equipment not supplied). For the more adventurous bring your own boats, ski's and jet-ski's for a day filled with fun and water activities on the Qora River. 4x4, Quad's, motorbikes and mountain bike trails are becoming popular.
