The wreck behind Cait and the reefs visible on a typical Kob Inn afternoon.

Roddy and Glenn fishing from Flat Rocks. About 150m from the cottage.
Great fishing but lots of rocks to lose your tackle on!

Black Rocks, about 200m up the coast from Flat Rocks. A nice gully here that gives up some beautiful Kob. Interesting white water and a ledge about 10m off that makes for interesting catches (and trying to land 'em!).
Couple of nice rocks to fish off if you don't mind getting too wet.

Thompsons Rock is about 100m to the right of Flat Rocks and good at high tides for Bream, the odd Kob or Pignose Grunter.
To the right of Thompsons is the main swimming beach so not a great place at peak season between 08h00 and 17h00.

Sunset view from Thompsons Rock overlooking the main swimming beach and onto the rock pools.
The rock pools are a great place for kids of all ages to play in and explore.

About 150m from the cottage is our main swimming beach. Really simple, if the west wind is blowing forget the fishing and go swimming, it's great.
About 1km up the coast is Mamma's beach which is also fun to swim at.

Shixini (if you're not isi-Xhosa it's pronounced 'Shekini').
Absolutely stunning and is about a 3 hour walk up the Wild Coast.
Irma will provide 'pad-kos' for those wanting to go on this walk.
(For the fishermen, Beachamwoods is another 1 hour up the coast)

Of course it wouldn't be "The Wild Coast" without it's own private wreck!
A yacht that ran aground in the 80's!

The seas showing their rough side - a strong sou'-wester blowing across the seas - walking was almost impossible.
Thankfully the cottage is well protected from these winds to the point you would hardly know it was windy.
(For days when the winds are too strong and the fishing ain't to good pack a kite or two!)

" The Camp" - the cottage is the cluster of three buildings in the centre.
The Swimming beach is at the top right of the picture, Thompsons Rock at the end of the trees (centre) and Flat Rocks at the top left

The Cottage.
The self catering units are to the left of this picture still with outstanding views of the sea.
Sit on the 'stoep' at the end of a hard days relaxing, chat over a drink and watch the ever changing seas around the reefs.
Idyllic!

"The Green Room"
At the front of the cottage (far right on the picture above)
All you ever hear are the waves

"The Peach Room"
Behind the Green Room in the main cottage.
Tastefully decorated and arguably the most peaceful room in the cottage.

The "Six-Sleeper" self catering cottage.

And this is your view !
